Christmas came to LaBelle last Saturday with vendors tables all decorated for the occasion. The Barron Park Christmas tree lighting and the annual lighted boat parade followed after dark. I welcomed the opportunity to present my newest book in the Belle of the Glades series, and I held a drawing for a Christmas basket and was pleased to present it to Charlene Claireborne. Congrats Charlene! Merry Christmas to all who stopped by my table to visit a spell. Thank you readers for your time. I wish you a blessed Christmas and happy New Year.

![]() Every family has its favorite cookies that must appear every Christmas. I minimized this year and made two to please. In addition, I took the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies featured at the end of my newest Belle of the Glades sequel--The Barnstormer--to a neighborhood Christmas gathering.
